One huge perk of running this
blog is discovering new brands which I may not have come across before. Denys& Fielding is one such brand. The British label was established by sisters
Elizabeth and Catherine Ridgway, when the search for the perfect garden
furniture exposed a gap in the market for designs which could fit perfectly
into anything from a bijou city garden to a quaint country cottage retreat.
The brand offers a gorgeous
collection of outdoor furniture and accessories which combine opulence with
just the right amount of playfulness thrown in. Alongside its range of
deckchairs, cushions and stools, you’ll also find add-ons which are often
forgotten about with other brands – think candles, pots, planters and crockery.
Basically, everything to create the perfect afternoon with a sunhat and Pimms.
As we’ve officially arrived into spring, I decided what better time than to introduce my highlights from Denys & Fielding’s spring/summer 2016 collection. One thing that every outdoor space needs to have in the warmer months is somewhere comfy to sit and let’s face it, kicking back in a deckchair is definitely a good option. Inspired by the prints found on vintage 30s and 40s tea dresses, fabrics (made in the UK) are combined with sturdy solid wood frames and can be folded away easily enough once the colder months appear. I love the introduction of the Balcony deckchair for city dwellers, small enough to sit and enjoy the sun, and even the double deckchair for those love bugs who want to cuddle up together on an evening.

Finally for those BBQ or
Sunday breakfast moments outside, there’s a great series of white ceramic
crockery additions – the perfect finishing touch to your garden Instagram
moment, with a coffee and croissant.
If you’re looking to update
your outdoor space this year, especially with the Easter break just around the
corner, I’d recommend checking Denys & Fielding’s website here, as well on
Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram for some gorgeous garden inspo. Oh,
and before I forget they even offer a wedding hire service, so definitely one
to check out if party planning is on your mind.
