One of my October goals was to give my bathroom a makeover. I had all sorts of plans, Pinterest boards, websites bookmarked. That was until my landlord said I had damp and I needed to have my entire bathroom walls redone. Hump.
OK, so the walls were out of bounds. But that didn't stop me from wanting to give it, say, a little refresh instead. I've had the same old blue towels and blue striped bathmat since I moved into my own place about four years ago. Don't worry, they get washed weekly, but everything in my bathroom has seen better days (see below).
I had plans to give the space a black and white makeover, but I spotted a coral paisley towel in interior store Dunelm which kind of threw that idea completely out of the window. And I didn't just stop at buying the towel. I wanted to add some greenery to the room, so I bought this amazing little faux cactus above to add to my bath rack, as well a faux fern for my window sill. I also updated my tatty old brown caddy to this shiny new white one, and even treated myself to a brand new toilet brush. Woohoo, I must be feeling flush. See what I did there...
Swapping all my accessories to white ones (I had an old mirrored soap dish and tumbler before), has really brightened up the room no end - plus I spent around £85 on everything, which to make a room look this different is good value in my eyes. Now I'm about to go have my morning shower, which might take a little longer than usual now my bathroom feels more like a spa. If you carry on scrolling to the bottom you'll find exactly where to buy everything in case anything catches your eye.

It looks so cute and it's great that you got it all for £85! I'm obsessed with interior at the minute but unfortunately my bathroom has no window in as it's in a flat so I have no ledge to put any decorative pieces on! Lovely post x
