COACHELLA OUTFIT INSPIRATION

For a little while there, everyone kind of fell out of love with the whole boho look, turning to more tailored or grungy looks at Coachella. I didn't. Ever since Rachel Zoe, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller brought that whole look back, circa 2005, I've been completely in love with everything bohemian. Which is why I'm obsessed with the Californian festival which is currently in its second week.

It's just the whole sunshine vibe I love, and take me away from the dull skies of the north and into somewhere where I could rock this look and I'd be in heaven. Walking around in a floppy hat and peasant dress just doesn't seem to same in grey Leeds as it does in the Californian desert.

My friend and I spent most of Saturday morning discussing how we were going to get to Coachella. We decided 2017 would be our year. Her children would be slightly older then and we'd have enough time to save up to do it properly. I said every year I would have a wow holiday, this year it's Las Vegas, next year its island hopping from Santorini to Mykonos so the year after it's going to be Coachella for the week.

With that said, I did what any normal girl does and started to get some outfit inspiration. Kate Bosworth and Diane Kruger never fail to inspire, but two of my favourite looks came from model of the moment Gigi Hadid and BeyoncĂ©, both wearing a suede fringed collar which is super similar, if not the same, as this ASOS one for £50.00.

Are you a fan of the whole boho look or do you think it should have stayed where it was - in the past? Here's a few ways to get that look if you love it as much as me.

  1. Long floaty skirts/dresses with boots, that's something that looks totally cool on your blonde long-legged model but would it really work for anyone else? (I love the combo btw, my question is more like a wish haha)

    1. Oh god, yes I don't think I could get away with that look with pasty British legs but I definitely love elements of boho - it's just how I can work it into my wardrobe xxx
