Yesterday it was so beautifully sunny in London I decided to take my camera and snap some places near my house which I pass so often but never manage to properly visit.
Pimlico market on a Saturday morning is an amazing little hub of fresh flowers and fresh produce. Imagine getting your organic veg and treats like a Pieminister steak and ale pie (cough, like I "accidentally" did), and then riding off with them in the basket of your vintage bike, before settling down with a glass of freshly squeeze orange juice and reading the weekend papers. OK, so I don't know that's what everyone does who shops there, but it certainly looked like it Saturday morning.
There was an amazing florists there called Wild at Heart - amazing name no - and so many gorgeous bits to mull over. I'd definitely recommend going if you're in Pimlico or Victoria as it's really easy to get to and such a gorgeous place to walk around on a sunny day.
It's also super close to Sloane street so after I walked up to mix with the rich folk and enjoyed listening to a woman in Zara complain that the XS was far too small and she didn't understand why they couldn't make XXS - all the while looking like Jackie Stallone's uglier sister. Meow.

I then finally got around to visiting Battersea Flower Station at the top of my road to photograph some flowers. This place is amazing and seen as my obsession with photographing flowers is becoming a more regular thing, it was great to get in there and snap away.
From a wide variety of cactus to the on-hand florist to the garden of olive trees, each part of the Flower Station has something on offer. It's just on Battersea Park Road by Sainsbury's and it slightly hidden but if you're passing by then definitely make an effort to pop in, you'll be surprised just how long it goes on for.
So that was my Saturday. When I get back to Leeds (which should be at the start of June) I'm very excited to start doing my things and saying yes more often but there's post about that tomorrow morning.
