Adding greenery to a space is one of my favourite ways to brighten a room up instantly, so today I wanted to bring together twelve stylish indoor plant ideas to hopefully inspire you to get a little green fingered.
One of my readers recently reached out to me on Twitter after I sent out a message asking for homeware questions (keep them coming by the way), asking for indoor plant ideas - more specifically, for her bathroom.
There are certain plants that thrive in bathroom environments, including ferns, aloe vera and Spider plants - all of which look great when styled on the bathroom windowsill or a plant stand in the corner of the room.

Creating a stylish indoor garden lies in your choice of planter or plant stand. I love the rattan basket above (image credit), adding a touch of nature to an otherwise traditional decor, while the copper and white stands below create a modern focal point.
Cacti and succulents have definitely had their time in the spotlight but I feel like this coming year, we'll see more of a focus on eucalyptus, tall singular cacti and philodendron plants. And with the major plus point of each little plant you decide to adopt cleaning the air you breathe, I'd definitely recommend adding some more greenery into your home.

I need to buy more plants!! x
ReplyDeleteGreat post Victoria. One that I'll be saving for future reference.
ReplyDeleteMy parent s always had plants in the house. We lived with many cheese plants that were practically part of the family. But I don't think I inherited their green fingers at all. We have no plant sin our house and no plants in the gardens. Just grass. The responsibility of looking after them, but also knowing what to buy. What's indoors and how big they grow!
That being said. With plans under way to redecorate our rooms, starting with the living room, I've come round to the idea of a plant. Or two. So will definitely be reading this again nearer the time. :)
