Yesterday I had the pleasure of popping along to Crafthouse in Leeds to sample the launch of their new addition to the menu, Afternoon Tea. The British fine dining restaurant, for those unfamiliar with the city, is located in Trinity shopping centre and is elegance personified the moment you step outside of the lift doors.
We were shown to our table, which overlooked the city four floors up and I was excited about the possibility of so many amazing pictures. It really didn't disappoint. Let me tell you, this place is interior goals, with a raft of restaurant decor ideas you could take home. Priced at £18 for a standard Afternoon Tea, £23 for Afternoon Tea including Prosecco - which is unlimited if you book in before April 29th to celebrate the launch - and £28 for Champagne Afternoon Tea, this wasn't just any old sandwich and scone.
Mixing sweet and savoury tasty treats, head chef Lee Murdoch has definitely put his own stamp on this British classic. With fresh scones baked daily, still hot and smothered in clotted cream, smoked salmon cones with dusting's of dill and mini ham sliders, I can genuinely say everything on the plate tasted absolutely delicious. And most definitely worth the money. It's worth the money just to sit in this beautiful environment alone if you ask me.
If you're interested in giving this a whirl, and trust me, you should, Afternoon Tea will be served every Tuesday to Saturday between 2pm and 5pm. And like I mentioned before, if you head over before the end of the month, you can enjoy your glass being topped up throughout your stay. What more can a girl ask for?
I was lucky enough to be invited along to Crafthouse but as always, my thoughts are honest. Let me know if you've managed to visit Crafthouse yet, or even if Leeds is somewhere you're planning on visiting. Have a great Saturday guys.
Your photography is amazing! Definitely need to check the afternoon tea out! X
