Today I wanted to share with you some spring trends I'm looking forward to seeing hit the high street. When I'm looking at the catwalk rundowns from fashion week, it's great to see what is set to emerge as the go-to piece of the season (who'd have thought culottes would have made a comeback?), but I also love see what accessories are predicted to be best sellers.
Accessories are a great way to update your look without having the shell out loads of dollar. From watches to the handbags, there are five key trends which I'll be incorporating into my wardrobe this spring. Let me know which you'll be coveting...
Clear Frames
See-through is set to be huge this year, especially in eyewear, but also handbags, jewellery and weirdly, footwear. Expect Primark is be on top of this trend.
Clashing Metals
Teaming gold and silver jewellery used to be seen as the ultimate sin, but the rules have firmly changed. This year will be able clashing metals, wearing your gold watch (see beautiful options over at Watches of Switzerland - especially these Chanel models), with delicate silver bracelets and rose gold rings. Moving away from the chunky, masculine watch styles of previous seasons, it seems thinner straps and slightly more feminine faces are the way to go for spring 2016.
White Bags
OK, so not the best colour to keep clean, but a white bag can look effortlessly Scandi-chic. I much prefer backpacks and bucket bags in this colour, rather than a lady like tote. And if I were you, this would be one trend I spend a little bit more money on, because a white bag, when made poorly, can look naassstttyyy. Zara will be the shop to catch on to this trend first.
Neck Ties
The trend for all things 70s doesn't seem to be retreating any time soon and for spring, expect to see neck ties and skinny scarves aplenty. I love this trend, but I'm not too sure I could carry it off. I'd team it with a fine knit jumper and flared jeans - classically Parisian.
Long Earrings
If there was one trend to stand out during New York Fashion Week last year, it was the use of long, statement earrings. These are not the chandelier styles we've seen previously - the elongated styles for spring 2016 are simple, pared back and almost abstract in shape. H&M will be on the case with this trend.

This post makes me excited for Spring! I love that watch, so stylish.
