INSPIRATION: MOROCCAN BATHROOMS

If you're an imaginary interior designer like me, then you're going to love the next thing I'm about to show you. Recently I've been thinking of ways to spruce up my bathroom as it looks a little, well, unfinished, but there's very little you can do in a rented property when it comes to a room covered floor to ceiling in white tiles.
At the moment I have some brightly coloured towels and a sign saying BATH but that's as far as I've got really. So with that in mind I set about Pinterest to try find some inspiration and seen as it's nearly a year since I had an amazing holiday in Morocco, I've decided to go with a little souk theme. OK, I can't tile but I can add plants, blue towels, dark wooden accessories and Moroccan accessories - plus Homesense has loads of this stuff at the moment so it's practically fate.

With that said I discovered an amazing tool called Virtual Bathroom, which basically allows you design your dream room starting from the layout to the tiles to the fittings - everything. It even lets you decide which towel rail you'd like. Once you finalise your design, you can then get a 3D photograph to show you what it would actually look like. I LOVE this platform, and could have spent ages designing more rooms if I didn't have to get on with Monday morning.

If you're about to decorate, or thinking about planning a new look in your bathroom then I'd definitely recommend this virtual planning tool. There's a competition running at the moment with which one lucky winner will receive an Intuos Graphics Tablet, while the 2nd runner up will win £100 of Apple vouchers and third place will win £50 worth of Apple vouchers. Have a go by clicking here.
What do you think to my design?
